Magizoologist Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) puts a spotlight on the fantastic beasts of the Wizarding World. But, fantastic beasts are not new to the Wizarding World and were an integral part of the original 'Harry Potter' series that preceded the Fantastic Beasts films.
