Disney CEO Bob Iger recently confirmed the next 'Star Wars' trilogy will be from Game of Thrones (2011) creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. After the current trilogy concludes in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), the Untitled Star Wars Project (2022) will have a story arc set outside of the existing Skywalker story and will be set in another not seen part of 'Star Wars' universe.  The upcoming first installment is set to be released to theaters worldwide on 16 December 2022. Show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss story-telling and world building success during the “Game of Thrones” series run is a shared achievement with a phenomenally gifted and hard-working GoT cast and crew. It is fair to assume the producers will no doubt tap into the same talent pool to create a similarly complex and entertaining separate 'Star Wars' universe that will rival the Skywalker trilogy.

Which “Game of Thrones” actor or actress would you most want to have cast in the David Benioff and D.B. Weiss 'Star Wars' trilogy?

All of them great actors, but if I have to pick one, it would be... Maisie Williams.

I was thinking how Rey-like she is and how she could easily pull off that type of character. I could see her in a major or minor 'Star Wars' role. She needs to get her movie career going too. I seen her in The Book of Love (2016), iBoy (2017) and Mary Shelley (2017) and while they were okay, they didn't exactly blow-up the box office. The New Mutants (2020) is again pushed back another year for the second time, but hopefully will be Maisie Williams' cinematic breakthrough.

Were you a former fan of "Game of Thrones" or never a fan of the show ever?
