The Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures is one of the premiere honors bestowed annually by the Producers Guild of America. It is unique in its intent to honor producers first and films second, rather than the other way around. Another unique quality is in how the award is determined. The Academy Award for Best Film allows every member of the seventeen branches that comprise the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to submit a nomination and all members vote on the final Oscar ballot. Thanks, it is likely only Amy Pascal is eligible, as she is the only producer on that production who is a P.G.A. guild member and is credited as such. IMDb list only Pascal and Wikipedia list all three producers as nominees. I couldn't find the rules online for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures either. Further, complicating matters is Kwak Sin-ae and Bong Joon-ho don't seem to be guild members either, but as a foreign production it is likely some type accommodation is allowed in the rules. All the other nominees have a P.G.A. designation listed in each films credits.
