The 'Star Wars' main film series encompasses nine movie chapters  colloquially referred to as the Skywalker saga. Furthermore, the franchise series is broken into three film trilogies with each centering on a different generation of the Force-sensitive Skywalker family. George Lucas called the 'Star Wars' franchise a symphony of recurring themes by noting the various parallels between the trilogies. These numerous trilogy parallels make for many interesting comparisons.

Across the entire 'Star Wars' franchise, which character trinity that pervades each particular trilogy is the most forceful* threesome of them all?  *as measured by these three combined measures: divine power (Force-sensitivity), sacredness (worthiness of devotion) and import (significance to franchise)

I originally wanted to limit it to three options, one each for each trilogy. But, the redemption of Kylo Ren, as well as, his importance in the trilogy, makes him a trilogy with him a contender I think. Especially, since the Rey,  Finn, and  Poe grouping seems to work in pairs in the first movie, form outside pairs in the second movie, and finally get together as a consistent threesome in the third movie.

I am keeping as is with all four options, I was thinking out loud, I originally posted four options, prior to the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019),. My thinking was that the movie would add some clarity and would eliminate one of the sequel options. But, based on the events of the final installment, it only strengthened the case for both Poe Dameron and Ben Solo.Therefore, I am leaving two threesome options for the sequel trilogy with different third members, As both, Poe and Ben make strong contributions to the three combined measures: divine power (Force-sensitivity), sacredness (worthiness of devotion) and import (significance to franchise).
