Qianbaihui Yang worked on and was credited as Mandarin Dialogue Editor for "Next Gen" but labeled as "uncredited" on IMDb. Could anyone help correct this credit and delete the "uncredited" comment? Here's a screen shot from the movie's China release. Thank you!

Hi Baihui,

Please see this guide which explains in more detail credit eligibility on IMDb. Does your credit refer to the Mandarin dubbing version of the title?

Thanks,
Will

Hello Will,

Thank you so much for the reply!

I started working on this film in May 2018 and edited Mandarin dialog for the Chinese version of the film, in which the mouth movement was re-animated to fit the language. It will be released on big screen in China on July 16th , 2019. The project's producer Olivia Hao provided me the screen shot. It was released one year later than the Netflix release due to the censorship.

After I finished the China release version in June, I edited Mandarin dialog for Netflix's Mandarin dub (no reanimation for mouth movement) for which I didn't receive a credit. I believe that was because Netflix locked their rolling credit by then. Normally, Netflix has extra credit pages for foreign dubbing at the end of their program. However, Next Gen has all the other languages except Mandarin due to unknown reasons.

To sum it up, I received the credit on the proper release of the film. I hope you could help me to change the uncredited comment.

Thank you!

Best,
Qianbaihui

Hi Baihuii,

Unfortunately that means that your credit is ineligible for a listing even as (uncredited) on the title page, as your work was not on the original release of the title.

However, you are welcome to include the information on the Other Works section of your name page and include the details of the changes on the alternate versions section of the title page.

Apologies that I can't be of more assistance this time.
