Question about Stan Lee's writing credits

So, I have a question about Stan Lee's writing credits. I edit a lot of Marvel shows and Stan is always credited. It always seems to take longer for Stan Lee's credit to appear on the site than whoever his co-writer of the comic is. For example, I edited an episode of Marvel's Avengers Assemble this morning and you can see that Jack Kirby is already credited but Stan isn't though the credits were submitted at the same time.

It's not a big deal but it happens consistently and leaves me wondering why it happens.

This is really covered in https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/when-will-my-update-be-added/GEK... (which we know you know) -- ultimately there are many factors which determine the order in which submissions are processed.

That answers the question in only the most generic terms without actually giving an explanation as to why one specific piece of data takes longer to process than 99.999% of all other data.

I checked last night, some 12 hours after I posted this question, and Stan Lee's credit still had not been added to this episode of Avengers Assemble. It is posted now. However, it isn't about this episode or even a handful of episodes. I've literally added Stan Lee to hundreds of episodes. It's not just his writing credits but also the one time I added him as an actor, there was a significant delay between his credit and the rest of the actors. If you noticed this happening on a consistent basis across multiple shows, wouldn't you be curious about it and want a more detailed explanation? I have never seen this with any another credit.
