Question for IMDB Employees regarding "Editing Video Gallery" & "Adding credited SAG role"

Hi IMDb employees,

Two Issues. I handle my husband's account. His profile has many relevant video clips/trailers associated with it; however the only 2 clips that show up in his Gallery are "Walk of Flame" he did for IMDb/Zippo and a random clip from an old Ben Affleck movie. How can I:
A) add relevant trailers and video clips to this account that would show up in the Gallery section?
B) remove the odd one from Gallery section?

Second Issue. He has a credited, SAG role in a current feature film. IMDb is saying they don't recognize the role and are mislabeling it "uncredited". If anyone has seen "Avengers: Endgame" they could watch the cast credits and see his cast credit themselves.  Should we take a photo when the credits roll and send it in? Have SAG contact IMDb? I'm at a loss for what to do.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Ed,
Regarding Issue #2 - The contribution was from my account and the number is #190429-152454-735000.  I'll head back to the theater when time permits and snap a photo of the cast credit as well and I'll be doing this at all our screenings now that I know this is an issue.
Thank you.

Hey Tracy,

I'm not an employee of IMDb, just a top contributor to the site and I wanted to give you a little bit of perspective of what's going on.

On your first issue: Does your husband have a IMDb Pro account? I believe this is the only way that you can add photos and videos to his page. To remove the old one, you could just go through the edit system and mark it for deletion. I can't really help you much with that as I rarely mess with the photo/video gallery but I have deleted a few low res and duplicate photos from some movies.

On the second issue: realize that IMDb is generally crowd sourced information. That means that people, like me and Ed, input the data and it gets published on the site. However, for major movie releases, I believe IMDb gets the cast/crew list directly from the studio. That means, changing this information is somewhat difficult and usually requires secondary sourcing. For a movie like Avengers: Endgame, which is still in theaters, this can be difficult. You will probably have to provide photographic evidence which you can add to this thread.

THANK YOU! An IMDb employee fixed the credit and it now appears as it should. Issue 2 RESOLVED.  Any insight on Issue 1 aka "GALLERY VIDEOS" greatly appreciated.

Hi Tracy -

Concerning Videos (trailers, full movies, clips, etc.) on name pages, these videos are automatically derived from the titles in the person's filmography. In other words, we display links to videos/trailers based on filmography credits, regardless of whether the individual is featured in the video clip or not.  As these videos are automatically linked, we are unable to remove or suppress them from a specific page on a case-by-case basis.

If you are wanting to add existing IMDb videos to your husbands page for titles he is credited for, you will need to visit the Contact Us page while logged into your IMDb/IMDbPro account and follow the path: IMDb Fan/Contributor questions > Images & video > Other Image/video issues then select "Email" and include the applicable links (your husbands IMDb page and the IMDb Video link) with your request to add the video to his name and our support team will take a look.
