Question: People's photos from titles

Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. There are often photos on a title's page tagged with an actor's name. But when you go to the actor's page, the photos aren't on there. Why?

It's possible this is a bug.

I've encountered this myself and found it annoying. I don't know the reason why this happens. If we can provide a few examples, maybe the IMDb technical staff can provide an answer.
