As it has always been, IMDb only let us register our rates with integer numbers (5, 6, 7, 8, etc). Well, most films I watch are already rated from 6 to 8 and I usually rate them from 4 thru 10. Most frequently with 6, 7 or 8. You see? One could say that I have only 3 possible rates to express my feeling about a movie. That's far from enough! e.g.: Too often I find that a film is better 6 but don't really deserves a 7. That also makes difference when one is browsing some user's Ratings List, searching for good stuff to watch. I thing I should be able to rate, let's say, [6.7], [6.4], [7.3]...
Thanks for reading.

Hi Marcelo Meireles,

I am not an IMDb staff member, but a long time user.

Multiple people have suggested this. IMDb has stated that they will not implement this idea. Too much of their infrastructure depends upon the current integer ten point scale of 1 to 10.
