In the ratings breakdown for each movie, one of the criteria is "US users" and "Non-US users", which probably comes from the original "very american" website. But now that people using IMDB and giving ratings come from everywhere, I would find it interesting for each movie to have an additional criteria being the ratings by "country of origin of the movie". This helps to understand if the movie is easy to understand (culture-wise) for foreigners. For example, some french comedies will not be funny to foreigners because understanding the jokes would need one to know the culture and references, or even slang..
