Ratings not available because the page never finishes loading

This started this morning. I can't rate episodes because the page never stops loading. Some times, the URL ends in "#void" but not always. As you can see from the image below, the tab is still loading as the wheel is still spinning. Unfortunately, the screen cap doesn't show the pointer but I'm hovering over stars and no rating is available.

It seems to be a Chrome only issue. It continues to occur even when I turn ad block off.

This is brand new. It was not occurring 8 hours ago. I literally rate dozens of programs a day. I have never seen this happen before. If the page does load correctly, ratings are available but for the most part, no page I've tried is loading completely.

Unfortunately this sounds like an issue with your ad blocker which needs to be reported to the provider of your software. For obvious reasons we are unable to offer to support when third party software is interfering with the display of IMDb content, sorry (you could vote via IMDbPro if you do not wish to see ads).

Respectfully, it is not a problem with the ad blocker. My previous post states that it also occurs when the ad blocker is disabled. Also, it works in Firefox with the same ad blocker enabled. Also, it has work for years with the exact same ad blocker enabled. This is a problem that started this morning and only occurs on IMDb.

Sorry but if your ad blocker has already blocked content (and scripts) required to make the page operate, switching it on afterwards could be too late.  However, to confirm this 1. Disable your ad blocker 2. Open a new "Incognito" window 3. Visit IMDb and sign-in 4. Try to vote from the incognito window.  This will confirm where the problem lies (which could be with us, but let's see).

That's not the way a webpage should work. Refreshing the page (which the ad blocker does when you turn it off) should completely reload the contents of the page, including scripts.

Anyway, I tried it in incognito mode. On one machine, the page fully loads before I log-in but once I log-in, I get the same behavior. On another machine, it loads fully most of the time but not all of the times.

Also, this isn't limited to title pages with voting. I notice it also happens on name pages. It also isn't limited to reference mode.

I also get links formed like this which did not previously happen and I have no idea what this would have to do with an ad blocker.

Removing the void generally works to get the page to fully load. As does, copying and pasting the link. This problem generally seems to happen when clicking a link on one IMDb page to navigate to another IMDb page (such as using the episode list or the previous/next episode links)
