Hi,
I have submitted two credits to cast lists that are listed as "being complete." However, in this case, this actor (my client) had been previously included in the "completed" list but someone removed his name. Please let me know how long it will take for these contributions to appear.

Thank you.
Best regards,

Hi Lisa -
Our records show that these credit submissions have not been accepted, which means that our editors were probably unable to verify it and need further information/additional evidence. If you have online evidence or screen grabs to help verify these credited roles, please post them here and our staff will take another look.

Hi - here is evidence relating to the role in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. My client Steven Lance (II) appeared in the film (as Steven L. Hersh). Please see below (here he is pictured in the center).

Please review the link above and photos and add this credit, as requested. I will post evidence soon about the other film.
Thank you.

Now that those two credits have been restored, I'd imagine that your client might want to check back occasionally to make sure that they permanently remain.
IIUC, those credits fall under the "movies released before 1990" exception that can be granted at IMDb's discretion (as noted on the Uncredited Credits help page). Evidently, that exception was granted in order to add the credits the first time. Yet somehow the credits did get removed at some point ... (and thankfully they have now been restored).
Is IMDb unable to assure that such credits will never again be removed? If those credits cannot be "locked", then I'd be concerned about the possibility of future removal. So, that's why I'd suggest that your client might want to re-check those credits occasionally to make sure that they remain.
(Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with IMDb, and I'm not an expert on their practices and policies.)
