There have been quite a few recent news posts showing up which mention my film - Staircases to Nowhere (tt2932226) - which are appearing on the page for Room 237 (tt2085910) but not on my film's page.  If the title of the film is mentioned and these sites are monitored by IMDb and showing up on other film pages, why is this not linked and showing up on the actual page for the film the article is actually about?

Is there any way for IMDb to add these news items about my film to the listing for my film?

Can you provide an example or two of news item appearing on IMDb that reference your film but are not linked to/from it? I'd need the URL/permalink of the article on IMDb.com -- we can only add/link articles within our internal news system, not hosted exclusively on external site. Also, the title of your film must be explicitly referenced within the article extract on IMDb.

Sure!  This one: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni56916428/
And this one: http://www.imdb.com/news/ni56911318/

Both mention/are about my film "Staircases to Nowhere".

Thanks for the info. The most likely reason why these are not being linked automatically is the discrepancy between the actual full title of the film ("Staircases to Nowhere: Making Stanley Kubrick's 'The Shining'") and the shorter title that is usually mentioned/quoted in these articles ("Staircases to Nowhere"). There are also some technical restrictions on our part: we linked the second article (it should show up shortly) but the first one mentions the film only in the title, not in the actual article extract, so we can't add the hyperlink in that case.

If you have other examples of news articles that mention your film in the body of the article on our site, please give me the URLs and we'll link those manually as well.

Never mind the "we only linked one of them" remark above -- I initially missed that the title is mentioned in the body of the article on the second item as well, but upon re-reading it I saw that it's there so we can link that one too.

There are two separate pages for Staircases to Nowhere - one for 2012 with a 25 Oct 2012 UK TV screening date and one for 2013 with a 20 May 2013 internet release date.   Are those the same film?

No, one is 17 minutes the other is 55.  Also the longer has double the number of cast members.  The longer is essentially an extended cut, but as a result it is a totally different film.
