refined, sorted list displays out of sequence on Chrome

This displays the titles out of sequence, with numbers in the 30's or 40's first (but the last 1 last):
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls007035631/?sort=release_date,asc&mode=simple&release_date=1954
This is even more jumbled:
https://www.imdb.com/list/ls007035631/?sort=release_date,asc&mode=simple&release_date=1957
And the results can vary when I refresh the page.

The numbering appears to be correct, based on ATS (although I didn't check all the titles):
https://www.imdb.com/search/title?release_date=1955&lists=ls007035631&view=simple&sort=r...

I'm using Chrome 67 on both a chromebook and on Windows 10. This happens with scripts/extensions turned OFF or on. This happens whether I'm viewing the list while signed into the owning account or not. This does not happen in Firefox or MS Edge.
