I've been trying to change the release date and production status, as these were entered incorrectly. Every time I enter the request to correct these items I get declined. Our film says it was released in 2018, however, we have only now entered the completion status of the project, and will likely release the film early next year. How do I solve this issue, as it will become a bigger issue for our project when we attempt to submit to the film festivals.

To assist the IMDb editors, why is the release date being updated?
Was the title released in 2018 to a film festival or over the internet?
Was the release year submitted in error when the title was first created?
The more information you can provide, the more likely the submission might be updated.
