Our movie “The Gate: Dawn of the Baha'i Faith,” which has religious (Baha'i) subject matter is being negatively reviewed by people with different religious/cultural beliefs. The reviews go beyond typical film critique; in that the reviews include spoilers, include personal opinions on real life events or subject matter on which a film is based, and/or spiteful remarks about Baha'is. The Baha'i faith is a minority religion and those practicing have been systematically and historically harassed and harmed throughout the Middle East. We do not want these reviews to further harm Baha’is or perpetuate negative feelings toward those who practice this religion.
Please let us know if there is anything that can be done (besides reporting each individual review).

I don't know if this helps in any way, Brooke Denham, but as sad as I am that you're facing this sort of nastiness, I'd like to expand my horizons and watch this film. If you can let me know how that's possible I am more than happy, not only as a film maker, but as a member of the so called "human race" to support your movie. Besides that, learning to just "be alright" with intolerance, bigotry, evil spirited intent and you name it, we have to be equally vigilant to call attention to haters and those who might wish us harm or ill will merely because we don't speak the same language, have the same color skin, or have different ideological beliefs than them. I guess I went off on a tangent. Perhaps that is because I too am working very diligently to produce an Anti-Racism, Anti-Genocide, specifically The Holocaust, and ANTI-HATRED film titled "Never Again!" I wish you the best, and stand by your side in strong support of your freedom to create "The Gate: Dawn of the Baha'i Faith."
