Remove a name/page

Good afternoon, can you please delete this page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2144889/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 It was created by someone else than me and doesn't reflect my full name and full biography. I have a page that is way more complete and accurate. Thank you for your help. Pierre MICHEL-ESTIVAL

Hi Pierre -

Instead of removing the existing page, if you have a separate page with further filmography information, you will need to merge them. You can find detailed instructions on how to merge name pages here. Let us know if you encounter any problems!

Thanks for your prompt response Michelle,

I am just afraid that it will create a lot of issues.

The name of the films or even my position on those films are right on my page:(http://www.imdb.com/name/nm8592722/?ref_=pro_nm_visitcons)

but not on the one I want to delete (created by someone else):
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2144889/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

I would like to avoid "messing up" the correct IMDB page (that I have worked hard on and that is accurate).

Hi Pierre -

I noted that several of the credited titles are duplicated on both pages but often with different roles. Can you clarify what credits under the "Pierre Michel (II)" listing are inaccurate?

Hi Michelle,

So sorry for my late answer.

The role should be "visual effects" and not "digital compositor". Also, my name is not proper (it is missing ESTIVAL at the end as you can see on my main page)

The titles of the films are good though.

I was able to confirm that the separate pages have now been combined to a single listing under "Pierre Michel-Estival", see here. Concerning the credit issue, just to clarify before making any direct changes, the following credit titles should only be listed with the role "visual effects", is this correct?

"Paris 36"
"Tears for Sale"
"Jacquou le croquant"
"Poltergay"
"Lemming"

Yes, this is correct.

In fact, everytime it is written "digital compositor", it should modify into "visual effects".

It seems that some credits are a bit messed up now. I am sure you have questions but for:

-Paris 36
-Tears for Sale
-Jacquou le croquant
-Poltergay
-Les Parrains
-Lemming

Right now, it is written "compositing" or "graphic artist" or "2d graphic artist". Please replace everything by "visual effects", which is more accurate.

Hi Michelle, hijacking this thread as it appears you are the deletion/correction expert! I wrote a few Plot Summaries 20 years ago when I was in college. I've tried editing and submitting multiple corrections, but there doesn't seem to be any way to remove my name from the summary. I no longer have access to my old college email and I can't recover the password. Is there any way to remove my byline from these plot summaries? I'm not in the film industry, the films are pretty obscure... but my name keeps showing up in search results next to these dubious movies. I'm just at a total loss and really appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thanks!

There is no way to remove a name without you accessing your own account. Staff cannot access it either. Know that's not the answer you were seeking, but it's the answer you'd get if you posted a new thread and staff replied.
