remove credit

I've asked to remove a credit from my page 4 times now and it still
hasn't gone - it was originally a verified credit, and after the first time I asked to remove it it remained on the page but changed to *uncredited* (which now looks even worse!) Please will you be able to remove it? I added it in myself but regret it as the part in the scene was originally meant to have my character name in it, that's why I added it, but having recently watched the episode, they changed the edit of the scene and the name isn't actually mentioned at all. Can anyone help?? Thanks x

If it's been verified as accurate, it should not be removed. If hour name did not appear in the on screen credits, the "uncredited" attribute should not be removed. If your name appears in the credits, post a screen capture of your name appearing and it can be removed.

If there's a couple dozen or so people not happy they cannot remove credits and manipulate what's on their page to make themselves look better, that's nothing compared to the 200 million user visits per month who want to see the information and not a doctored up resume.

I don't appreciate your nasty tone. I am not trying to "make myself look better" I am asking to remove a credit that doesn't exist. If you want to say it's my fault for initially adding the credit before the episode was released then I completely admit that was my error, but Im not a mind reader, I did not know they were going to cut my scene. Haven't changed my story, as I mentioned in my previous comment, I simply apologised for sounding confusing, but I have never said I was in this episode post-the release of the ep.

I have explained my reason clearly. I added the credit prior the episode release date, IMDB trusted me and put it up. The episode came out and my scene was cut but my credit remained on the page. Having asked to remove the credit four times and explaining the situation, then yes bluesmanSF, I will easily say this is now a mistake of IMDB's.

Also, David did not mention a couple dozen, from what I can read he actually said "a lot of people".

I never said you did. I said people do that. As to couple dozen, make that 1,000 and it's still nothing compared to the 200 million unique visitors per month. But I've seen a couple dozen, or so, post here about their pages.

Without being able to verify what you claim (and I offered that above) there is not much else that can be said or done only knowing you as bsw and not having access to the show.

Hi.

Just piggy-backing onto this conversation. I would also like to remove a credit (which I did not add myself) but haven't yet received an answer to my request, which was submitted on March 15th. Does it usually take this long or does that mean my request was not approved?

I think the only reason I was credited, is because the credit list was carried over from the series (which I worked on) to the movie version. By the time the movie was made, I had left the country.

Any advice would be appreciated.
