Removing an unwanted trailer from my IMDb page that I did not put there, nor does it show me in trailer. This distracts from my demo reel

I have a trailer on my IMDb page that I did not put there. The trailer does not even show me in it. I want to remove this trailer so interested parties can go straight to my demo reel

Unfortunately, that is not possible.

IMDb rules

Please read.

How does IMDb decide which featured video displays at the top of a name page? (link)

The most important part is the priority order of videos to be at the top of your page:
1. Videos related to the Known-For Title #1 (2, 3, 4...)
  • First interview by recency of addition (Done by IMDB)
  • Then first trailer by recency of addition (Done by IMDB)
3. Interviews
4. TV Programs
5. Trailers
6. Clips
7. Demo reels

Hi, Mark Adam Goff.

Usually, IMDb is not accepting video corrections here on Get Satisfaction.
You can address them directly via the contact form, selecting step by step:
IMDb Fan / Contributor questions;
Images & video;
Remove / update videos -
and the data editors will be happy to take a look.

If a video is incorrectly assigned to your name page, you may report these cases, however, please note that any video change requests for the correct individual raised for purely stylistic reasons will not be actioned.

Mark. The name-page below seems to be yours:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2986418
If this is correct, I have some advice for you.

(A) In your video gallery (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2986418/videogallery)
there is one trailer attached (The Posthuman Project), that might be "unwanted" as said. That trailer is correct for the movie where you played Earl Black, and your name was tagged there when trailer submitted into the base. At this moment it is impossible to remove that trailer from your gallery.

(B) You may want to remove (change) the video-trailer at the top of your name page. OK, but a demo reel can not help. The official guidelines allow this change if you have another trailers or interviews attached to the gallery. If more than one trailer attached, you may control which one at the top, just follow the guide: Known For title selection.

(C) Which trailer to prefer is upon your choice, but also they should be available to tag with your name. For example, Substance (2011) would be a great choice, but this title has no trailers attached. I'd recommend Donald Jenkins' Funeral (2009) trailer to tag with your name -- you are starring there both movie and trailer ;)))

Any decision of yours on this matter may be finally addressed through the contact form (see above).

Hope this helps

Elizabeth, thank you, the main video is changed for now.
Additionally, could you please change the slate to a Mark's image, because now it's a little confusing.

And may I ask here concerning the demo reel at the top:
  • Is it because the reel is actually a good compilation of trailers?
  • Or all of us may expect an official announcement that the policy has changed for better on such matters?
Thanks
