Removing Credit

Hello,

I have been trying for a while to remove a credit on my IMDB page for a student production that I am credited as the producer for. I wasn't the producer on this project and would really like this credit to be removed from my profile (especially as I want my profile to look more professional, too)
All of my attempts so far following the conventional route have not worked.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks,

Lauren

Lauren.
Sounds like this has been decided by IMDb staff as valid information from the way you word it.
Sorry but no one can advise you on the removal of a valid credit.
That includes those that "Claim" that "I was never involved"
This is a common claim by those seeking to remove credits they deem beneath their now current level of professionalism.

Policy of IMDb is and always will be this..........

I tried to delete data, but it still appears on IMDb. Why?

I tried to delete data, but it still appears on IMDb. Why?

IMDb aims to be the most comprehensive and reliable source of information on movies, TV and celebrities. We are committed to accuracy and it is our longstanding policy not to alter or remove correct factual information from our records.

So, if you try to delete an item of data which is accurate, your delete will not be processed. Please be aware that attempts to delete accurate data will count against your overall accuracy rating and may result in all your submissions taking longer to process along with additional proof requirements.

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your reply. Would just like to clarify that I by no means deem the project beneath my current level of professionalism. However, I do have an issue with being credited as something that isn't correct and valid. I have proof of this, is there some way I could provide this to resolve this?

Many thanks,

Lauren

Post your proof here.
Staff will evaluate it.
If it is a letter that says you were not part of it, IMDb will not accept that.
Same goes for e-mails.
So if you have something different, post it please. It will help.

Lauren, you neglected to post any proof here for staff to see.
I have noticed that a staff member just viewed this about 20 minutes ago.
If you had that proof posted here, they would have made a determination.
You can still post that proof. but now it may be a week before they get back to reviewing this.
Thanks
