IMDB took down a dubious credit made in my name, whose appearance on the site I knew nothing about. The credit finally has been removed, but my name still remains on the site. I asked for everything to be taken down, including my name. Do I have to start a new Help Request?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi hilary,
Please can you include a link to the name page? Then we can investigate further.

Thank you. I don't want to list it publicly. Can you tell me how this site enables (if it does) private messages?

Thank you. Not that I'll need it again, but I'll bookmark the form, because it's hard to find (at least for me, and I spent time on the site searching for it).

How can imdb collect and control data, which makes a profit for imdb, and returns NOTHING to the filmmakers? HOW, at the request of a filmmaker who's film was never released to the public (film festivals should not count as they are a useless exploits of non commercial films) how, can he/she not have the film removed from the IMDb database? How is it that imdb has never been sued for DMCA violations? I for one am on the same journey to get my unreleased films out of the imdb database and I will never stop until I die. I am in process of talking to 3 lawyers, 2 of which are very interested in suing imdb. Imdb is a pompous company run by the same type of people that so desire to be in the film industry, but have no talent to pull it off. So they sit around, collecting data from people that actually work for a living and make money off of them. IMDB is nothing but a group of pimps making money off of filmmakers.
Oh, and PLEASE NOTE IMDB: My "policy" is if somebody takes my personal information and my business information and posts it in their website, without my persmission, they are looking at one big class action lawsuit. You can bet on it. So don't waste your time copying and pasting your "stock reply" to this post, because we've all read them before. IMDb, your day is coming. You can not illegally post information in any form, without expressed permission. You have no legal right and your "terms of service" are meaningless. You are NOT a government agency and you do not serve the public with your data collection, you only serve yourself, with undisclosed profits. Again, your day is coming.
