Reorder UFC on ESPN Episodes

Hello IMDB,

I have been updated UFC on ESPN (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9246600/episodes?ref_=tt_ep_epl) since it started, but two episodes were missing. These are live UFC fight cards and initially ESPN advertised this as being the guide for only UFC on ESPN events. It was suggested that since ESPN airs Prelims for PPV events, that the Prelim cards should also be included.

As a result, two episodes were added, but the Episode Order will need to be readjusted.

UFC 234 Prelims - Currently no Episode #, Should be 1.2
Assuncao vs. Moraes - Currently 1.2, Should be 1.3
Ngannou vs. Velasquez - Currently 1.3, Should be 1.4
Blachowicz vs. Santos - Currently 1.4, Should be 1.5
UFC 235 Prelims - Currently no Episode #, Should be 1.6
Lewis vs. dos Santos  - Currently 1.5 should be 1.7

The rest can just have the airdate changed so it should not be a problem. I don't want to edit these individually as it could create some merges and mess up the actor credits. Is there a way IMDB can assist with this?

Thanks!

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your message. Can you give some more background to this title? We list standard UFC events as standalone TV specials so this could be a duplicate series listing. Do these episodes relate to the pay per view events? If so then the series should be removed.

Regards,
Will

Hi Will,

UFC on ESPN Press Release: https://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2018/05/espn-espn-to-become-exclusive-media-home-of-ufc-...

IMDB currently lists all UFC PPV events as standalone TV specials, which is the best practice. This is a series of related events that all air as UFC on ESPN 1, 2, 3 or UFC on ESPN+ 1, 2, 3 etc. So, the guide is appropriate.

To draw a comparison, this is like the listing for The NFL on CBS whereas the Super Bowl would get its own listing.
