Isn't it interesting how one, sole, single person's infinite wisdom decides on what is appropriate content...?

My response to someone's comment has been removed by a moderator called "Adrian" who seems to think *he* has the supreme, authoritarian power in removing a response, in this case under the guise of "spam". Now, there is offered no right to challenge this, nor is there offered any explanation as to how my comment/reply is 'spam'.

This is a typical totalitarian tactic... no appeal, no challenge, no explanation... just remove it.

Pathetic!

Some of my replies were removed without any explanation, and some of them without any e-mail notification that usually come.

Also, I've experienced the situations with posts and comments of users -- who have no "Champion", or "Official", or other status giving such authority -- when their replies were edited or removed after other users posted in the same thread.

Moreover, when such cases are reported to the GS team (not IMDb), they generally prefer to keep silence or you need to be incredibly persistent so they drop a word inkling of truth.

Steve, welcome on this side of the same board.

The reply was offensive and derogatory, so I'm not surprised it was removed, though it probably should not have been described as "spam".

Peter, et al,

Get Satisfaction's spam filter will flag posts that contain offensive and derogatory language. It's possible that the post was flagged as spam and someone with admin rights agreed.

So trannies referring to themselves as trannies in a tranny review on an hypothetic film called “Trannies” will also have their tranny thoughts declined. That’s a great policy.

Daniele Iannarelli I seldom hear ts people referring to themselves that way, though. I guess it is very much the same problem as with the infamous n-word: the fact that people use it referring to themselves does not automatically mean that you should or that it is acceptable.
