Request to reconsider a rejected contribution

I have a request to reconsider a rejected contribution.  I submitted a birth name for John Morgan Evans nm0262912.  Since the instructions says "you *must* include URLs to public records, printed publications...", I included a link to two pictures on Shutterfly of his obituary that appeared in Variety (a "printed publication").  I included a picture of the full page from Variety so someone could read the full obit and confirm it was the same person, then a separate blown up picture of the section of the obit that gives his birth name.  Is there something else I should have done?

I can see that this birth name submission was not approved, likely because our editors were unable to verify the information.

Can you post the source links or obituary screen grabs here and I can take another look for you?

I tried viewing both links but noted that in order to view the content a login was required, this is likely why your submission was rejected, as we can only view evidence that is publicly available and doesn't require a login to access.

I would encourage you to upload these to a publicly accessible platform of your choice (we recommend Dropbox or Imgur) and provide us with the link and we can then take a look.

Thanks for the reply.  Interesting.  I'm guessing some of the submission reviewers do have access to Shutterfly images since I have been using that platform for about 6 months with my imdb submissions and most have been accepted.  I will investigate using one of the ones you suggest.
