When refining your ratings by 'number of user ratings', the range is from 0 to 1000000. This means that films with over 1000000 votes are automatically excluded, which is a problem when trying to set a minimum number of votes, without wanting a limit of 1000000. The upper limit should at least be beyond 2000000, since The Shawshank Redemption has over 1800000 million votes.

Perhaps a minimum and/or maximum value should be entered into a box, like with the advanced search. The same could also be done with 'release year' since the current system of using a slider is not very precise. For example, with 'number of user ratings' the number seems to increase randomly: from 1000000 to 794328 to 630957, with no option in between. The system used with the advanced search is far more precise and lacks the abovementioned problem.

Thank you so much for your patience, Aaron.

Our technical team has adjusted the "Number of user ratings" filter to 10,000,000 votes, ensuring that all titles can now be filtered accordingly; as of this moment, the title with the most number of votes is The Shawshank Redemption with 1,818,338 ratings.

In regards to the individual selection points on the slider, please know that the amount of data analyzed by this filter limits the granularity that the slider tool can achieve. Please rest assured though, the suggestion and feedback have been passed along to the appropriate team. We welcome all feedback from our users when considering future updates to our site and its tools.

Please let us know if we can offer any further assistance.
