I submitted this review to a movie I saw and got a message back saying they were "unable to verify". For the life of me, I can't figure out what IMDb is unable to "verify" in a review. I even tried resubmitting the same review and clicked that there were spoilers even though I don't think there are any. I got the same thing back, unable to verify. Someone please help. Let me know what I did wrong or what I need to change. See below. Thanks! :-)

A better than average script with great performances from a very seasoned lead cast. At first I was baffled by some of the really negative reviews. Then I realized that you need to have a certain amount of life experience and perspective to like and see yourself or someone you know in a story like this. If you're not able to feel the romance and appreciate the subtlety and realness in the lead performances, perhaps you're not old enough or experienced enough with the roller coaster that is a life (half)lived, to appreciate this one. (Maybe those viewers will give it another go several years from now and enjoy the movie then!) I enjoyed it pretty much from start to finish. Do I need to hear Ethan Hawke singing more fake 90s stuff, no. But that is such a small piece of the story. And his cover rendition of Waterloo Sunset is actually lovely. Plus it's not just a generic rom-com or uber emotional love story. There are many genuine, emotional moments. The script and actors also do a great job of showing the banality of certain periods in your life - doing something you're not exactly thrilled with, whether it's a job or how/where/with whom you live, because you feel obligated or stuck. But there's also humor. I chuckled throughout, laughed out loud several times - even while simultaneously rolling my eyes sometimes - but I felt like the movie was "in on it" in those moments. And I did tear up once or twice. I wish they made more movies like this about people in my age group/generation. They used to... So happy I found this gem. I'm sure I will come back to it and watch it again over the years as my life changes and so does my perspective.A heartfelt comedic romance for adults who've lived but haven't always made the "right" choices
