As Vincent has noted, your user reviews are still pending. You can track processing times through the link he's provided.
Thanks.

Because I hate my reviews vanishing, especially if there is no notification that they are being deleted or even which ones were deleted. In fact it was just the sheer luck that I discovered maybe five reviews that were deleted and I had the original contributor email which had my review and I was able to put them back up, I’m not really understanding why they were deleted in the first place other than somebody complained about them and the only option for the complaint is “delete”, rather than a text box where we can enter our explanation of why we think the review is inappropriate. Like we used to have. And even back then, if if reviews were deemed inappropriate and therefore deleted, we were shown which ones were deleted and we could edit them because somebody would have had the decency to explain why they thought it was inappropriate and therefore we would be able to correct it and re-upload it.
But this new review system, where anybody can complain about my review for “Star Trek Discovery” (The one that says, “This is Star Trek, deal with it“) and have it deleted 10 times in a row, when there was absolutely nothing in that review to merit deletion, and I wasn’t even notified that it had been deleted, I think that’s the most unfriendly thing on this entire website. Can these matters be brought up to somebody who can think about giving us a notification system of which reviews have been deleted? Because I am positive that I should have well over 800 reviews on this site, fact I am positive that I should have over 900 reviews at this point, right now and all I am seeing right now are 778.
Thank you, sorry for the irate complaint.

I wrote a third review last night at around midnight my time, maybe 12:30 or so, which would make it about 3:30 or so your time. When I woke up this morning it was published. Can someone please delete the two previous ones? If those finally publish I will do that myself .
The relevant contributor ID numbers
#190322-084316-614904 and
#190322-031906-746004- these are the ones that need to be deleted.
#190323-073739-574104
Was the one that got approved, and I just edited that one and the number for the edit would be
#190323-135539-863404.
My external review got added more quickly than this internal user review. Which is actually totally backward behavior from previously, whenever I did a site edit sometimes it would take months for those to show up. This one showed up practically instantly, while my original user review just sat there telling me that it would be published on the 22nd and it was not published even on the 23rd.
I think what I’m asking here is that if there’s some issue with our reviews that makes the editors want to hold up on them for a while, we deserve some kind of email indication that there will be some extra time. Thank you for coming in here, I can’t afford to purchase an IMBd pro account, but I have been a contributor here since the site was first created.

As I stated initially, there used to be a help link that actually brought you to a place where you could load a trouble ticket and some human person would check it out and I have had reviews that were in limbo taken out of limbo due to that system. But I believe now you have to be IMDb Pro to do it, and I simply don’t have the money to become pro I’m not really pro anyway, other than maybe my sheer volume of reviews, which I am pretty sure there are over 100 missing right now.

No such system existed and IMDbPro offers no such service (in fact IMDbPro does not even support the display nor contribution of user reviews).
Please see our reply in a moment which will clarify the situation.

Please see https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/when-will-my-update-be-added/GEK...
Contributions are not processed strictly in the order they are received; we optimize processing for overall efficiency and accuracy. Re-posting the same review while another for the same title is pending will often have the opposite of the intended effect and will slow the processing down further.
To check the status of any review, we recommend using the new experimental tracking system which includes all reviews, regardless of the IMDb interface used to contribute the review. Please see https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history
Finally to add support to the idea to track deleted reviews, please vote and comment upon the idea thread at https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/deleted-reviews-coming-back-any-time-soon

When they are hung up for a long period of time, I don’t know if that is because they found something objectionable or if there was a teaser that I didn’t mention or some other reason, maybe just an automated email back if somebody found the review unacceptable and give us a chance to edit it and re-upload it. I spoke to you several times more than several actually using my other user ID about this exact same subject, there were several others who have the same concerns as mine.
So, you are addressing the issue of reviews that have totally disintegrated? Vaporized? Have been made non-existent? Good, I will check out that thread. I thought you had some clout around this place but if you need my support I will certainly give it.
Maybe you can put your two cents into my other recent thread about the IMDb troll attacks, which was titled “what if we ditched the down vote button”- it is my learned opinion, that if you remove a feature that trolls and botnets use to abuse any system be it Reddit or IMDb, then said trolls vanish. But perhaps if there were some system of automation like a Captcha or a even the old automatic spellchecker, which would not allow you to proceed until you corrected every last spelling mistake, that may have the same affect. Because botnets have trouble with things like that, they cannot automatically spam “Captain Marvel“ with 150 negative reviews at once using preprogrammed IMDb troll accounts, if the review system automatically stops the procession of their review for spellchecking . They would simply quit. It may be easier to just remove the down vote button, which they use to attack every single positive review of many of the movies and television shows I have been following recently. But a lot of people do not like that idea, I myself think it is a drastic measure but I’m just trying to find an end to these trolls, the same trolls that are attacking rotten tomatoes, trolls which appear to have some kind of political agenda, which has no business being on Internet movie database at all

XweaPonX, I had one of my positive reviews very quickly downvoted a couple of times (Amy Schumer, Growing), so I'm aware that it happens. But I note that the upvote has also placed scads of trivially short 1-star reviews at the top of the "helpfulness" list. I remain unconvinced that the downvote is any more a tool of bots or other "evildoers" than the upvote.
But both for Schumer, and after looking at Captain Marvel's 1-star reviews (a page of each, sorted by most- and least-helpful), I'm not convinced that this is a targeted strategy by a limited number of people. I think, at least in Schumer's case, there are just a lot of people who hate her as much as I enjoyed it. I ask, if this is not possibly the case with Captain Marvel also? Particularly since there are a lot of IMDb users ready to rant -- at sufficient length that we know they're not bots -- about any film that they perceive has a feminist or liberal worldview?
When you refer to "preprogrammed IMDb troll accounts", is this how we should interpret the very varied "member since" dates for the users ragging on C.M.?
Thirteen percent of Captain Marvel's reviews are 1's, and "only" 8 percent of the ratings, but this isn't out of line with the usual case; presumably because people with strong opinions are more likely to write a review. The overall rating is still 7+, so it seems the naysayers are losing. I haven't seen it, so I don't have an opinion on its quality.
I don't intend this as a rejection of your concerns, but other than a "vast rightwing conspiracy" that slowly infiltrated IMDb over the last 5 years with fake accounts, I don't understand how the data reflects a bot-war or other concerted action.
Cordially,

I know I'm on the wrong thread, I just didn't know how to link from one to the other to follow up on something you said here. Anyway, I'll move on and think about what you said.
