Listed as a short (maybe because it's a package film composed OF shorts?) even though the other Disney 40's package films are listed as Features and it is widely considered Disney's 6th Animated Feature.
Please correct

The running time is listed as 42 minutes. When you add a title on IMDb it splits into features and shorts based on a run time of 45 minutes. So Saludos Amigos is correctly listed as a short if the running time is correct.

That's based on the wrong assumption that 45 minutes designates a feature. When several authoritative organizations on the subject say it is 40 minutes:

You may disagree with IMDb's definition of Short and Feature, but in this database, that is the definition that must be used. The Submission Guide: Genres is explicit :
Short :  Any theatrical film or made-for-video title with a running time of less than 45 minutes, i.e., 44 minutes or less, or any TV series or TV movie with a running time of less than 22 minutes, i.e. 21 minutes or less. (A "half-hour" television program should not be listed as a Short.) If known, please submit the running time if we do not have one on record. Objective.
Therefore on IMDb this is considered a Short.

So then change my initial complaint to 'IMDB uses the incorrect time for Short vs Feature film length.'

How could it be incorrect? It is what they decide it is. Even your own "proof" states that it's different for different organizations. If you have a suggestion, post it as an "idea" thread. But have something more than it's "incorrect." I am sure, if you make a good case for changing the way they operate but don't expect it to happen because it's done that way by one of many other organizations. They have implemented good ideas before so if you've got one, go for it! If you make a good case, in an idea thread, other users can vote up your idea.

It might be possible for staff to convert this thread...if not, just repost and add your reasoning.

For what its worth, years ago I owned some video stores and we carried that title. When asked if it was a full length feature we said, "No, it's a short."

Well if I was asked by any public, I'd call anything less an hour a short, too.
