If Dave means when to choose "4:3" and when "1.33:1" from the IMDB's "Aspect Ratio" drop down list, I believe...

4:3 = TV production
1.33:1 = Non-TV (basically older feature films)

Hi Eboy, I was not aware of this convention.

Anyway, allow me to be picky here:
Arithmetically speaking, both ratio are absolutely identical.
When it comes to older feature films, they were actually 1.37:1.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your message, if you've found an aspect ratio on a title page that is incorrect then please use the edit page feature then select aspect ratio correct /delete and hit continue to submit an update to our data editors.
