Search Suggestions - Unable to Click Scroll Bar

I wonder why OP has mentioned about 'scrolling'?!! Because the moment you click on the scroll bar(or anywhere else for that matter) on the right, in an attempt to scroll - the list disappears! So, it's not only useless, but a counterproductive feature - because unless one is using IMDb on 50 inches computer screen(which I assume IMDb staff assumes about the general world population), this feature limits the viewable/clickable items on that 'search input based dynamically generated' list to just 2 or 3!

You're right, that is dumb.  For what it's worth, you can still scroll with the mouse wheel, which is what I do.

Amazing that this "feature" hasn't been removed yet.

Yep, that's why I mentioned "scrolling". I use the mouse wheel exclusively for scrolling. I never use the scroll bar, so I wasn't aware the pulldown list disappears when you click on it. Geez, that does make it more of a headache for some people.

Thank you for the feedback! I've forwarded this information to our engineering team for further review.

Since the remainder of this post was regarding feedback about the videos in the search suggestion, I'm going to separate this conversation regarding the scroll bar issue into a separate thread.

Hi everyone,

I've confirmed with our engineering team that this issue is now resolved; scrolling by clicking and dragging no longer closes the search suggestion results.

Please let us know if we can offer any further help.
