Hi Bob,

Could you provide an example of the search you were trying to do along with a link?

Are you logging in via IMDb or via Amazon, Facebook or Google? If you normally logged in via IMDb and tried to log in via the other services, you are logging in with a different account and would not see your original profile and lists.

I log in via IMDB, I used the search button on the top of the page same as I have been doing for the last 10 or 15 years and typed in the title of the movie and the search bar did not respond. However it now is working but you could check one thing for me I had to register first and I don't understand why I was a registered member for about 15 or more years and all my saved data is gone, what happened I have not changed names or any other information

As DD says, this is usually down to someone accidentally logging in through something like Google or Facebook, which creates another account. This is reported quite a bit and, so far, that has been the cause of the problem in ever case I can remember. So try logging out and back in again using what I'd assume would be your IMDB account (as I don't believe any of the alternatives existed back then.

You can check to see if this is the case by seeking out any reviews or public lists you might have, which should take you back to the original profile, hopefully, showing everything is still intact.
