First of all, I think that movies in certain categories e.g. Action Titles should have been organized in numbered pages like Google search, instead of this annoying previous and next because if somebody has gone through the first pages one day and another day wants to see the rest of the results has to click several times on "Next" to get there. Also, I think that the site should provide the option of using multiple search criteria simultaneously like the very good search engine that www.newegg.com provides. If am not mistaken I cannot search for Action Movies (Genre) of 2012(Year).

Agreed that anything with multiple pages should be numbered - search results, lists, etc. They do at least have numbered pages on the message boards, though for some reason not in the user posting history.

You can use the IMDb's Advanced Search to do this. Next to the main Search box is a drop-down field that defaults to "All". Click on the drop-down and choose "Advanced Search". Then click on "Advanced Title Search" to take you here: http://www.imdb.com/search/title.

Which gives you:

http://www.imdb.com/search/title?genr...

The first part of your suggestion has already been suggested here, so you might want to +1 that:
