Searching for Japanse art movie "Tokyo X Erotica" yields no result, even when it's mentioned as aka international title on the page of "Tôkyô X Erotika", which DOES exist on imdb...

Are you sure Tokyo X Erotica isn't Tôkyô X Erotika?

A quick Google doesn't give bring up a non-2001 title.

Can you provide more information about the film you are looking for? If it isn't the same film, then it might not be in the database or it has a very different title and no aka.

No, no, I'm aware that it's the same movie. Only the search by an alternate title didn't work. (I found the japanese title by searching for the director...) See below for the solution.

When you search for Tokyo X Erotica at the top of the Search results page it will say:
No results found for "Tokyo X Erotica"
If you scroll down on that page, on the right-hand side you'll see a link to "Enable adult titles/names in your searches." Clicking on that will stop the IMDb from blocking this title (and any other titles they've marked as Adult) from appearing in your search results.

YES thank you. Never noticed that before. Did I really never search for an adult title before?!

(And the link for disabling the adult filter is really well hidden!)

Thanks again.

You may well have searched before.

I tried the search and could not find anything. Finally I checked the filter and discovered that it was blocking Adult results.

I know I set it to allow Adult info, and never changed it back, but it reset itself. This is extremely annoying!
