Searching in your own ratings doesn't work correctly

I have watched the A Better Tomorrow trilogy with Yun-Fat Chow several months ago, but when I looked today which other movies I had seen with him, I didn't get part II in the generated list. I have generated the list through http://www.imdb.com/search/title?defaults=1&my_ratings=restrict with Yun-Fat Chow as selected name in Cast/Crew

As you can see: I voted on the movie


This is the list I get:


I have used this function repeatedly for other actors, but this is the first time I encounter an error in the generated list.

I have noticed the same issue with the movies from Ann-Margaret. I have voted on:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024675/reference
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024653/reference

However, when I search in my own ratings I only get:

Bump because there still has been no reaction whatsoever. I can't believe that one of the main functions of the site doesn't work and nobody even takes the time to reply.

Hi Timothy -

Apologies for the delay.  I'm trying to replicate the problem, just to clarify, you are using the
Advanced Title Search and have selected the "Restrict to Titles I've Seen" option under "Your Ratings", and titles you rated are missing from the results, is this correct?

Yes, that's correct. At first I thought it was a problem with Chinese names (Chow-Yun Fat, Fat Chow-Yun, ...) but then it happened with Ann-Margaret.

 I have alerted our technical staff and they will take a look as soon as they can.  Once I hear any updates I will post the information here.

Hi Timothy, our technical staff confirmed that Advanced Search will be migrating to a new system, they won't be making any fixes for this problem now, but these issues will be addressed during the migration.

I saw that the status was changed to solved and decided to test it. It still isn't solved! Okay, I get more Chow-Yun Fat movies but the problem with Ann-Margret is still the same.. A year has passed  and still no solution or new system as far as I can see

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066892/reference doesn't show when I search for Ann-Margaret. Still no sign of a new Advanced Search? It has been 2 years already.. I can't believe that a core functionality like this is still not working.

Just following up here to confirm that our tech staff have tried to replicate the problem but couldn't, and believe that the problem has since been fixed.

However, concerning the example for Ann-Margret's role in http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024653/reference which has the "archive footage" attribute. Please note that we purposely skip archive footage and archive sound, so if the name doesn't have any other non-archive type role, the result is working as designed.

Alright, so far so good it seems. The list of movies with Chow-Yun Fat seems to be correct.

I'm glad that this finally seems solved
