see-all-Result when trying to add an actor

I am adding a new title that has not been submitted.  I have a few character names and things still to add, but the one thing I can't overcome is the failure to add a new actor.  When I enter his name, either last name, then first name, or the other way around, it gives me the list of choices, and I pick the last option, it refreshes the screen and enters "see-all-Result" for the actor name and makes the field red.  Everything else is green, just my inability to add this actor.  I have a dozen actors and actresses entered, so it isn't that I don't know how :)  This is my first submission so I am having to overcome newbie obstacles, but this doesn't seem to be me?  Thanks!

Can you post a screenshot here of the problem entry? Maybe an experienced contributor can see something that would help.

looks like all of the other submission entries that are green, yellow, or in this case red with that wording vs. the person's name.

There's obviously something special about this one, and letting someone here SEE it might be beneficial.

Is the name for someone who already has an IMDb name page with their filmography or will this be their first credit?

This is a new person, which is why I am choosing "result not show", because he isn't listed and wouldn't be listed.  This wasn't an issue with anyone else.

I tried something else...after entering his name,  I just tabbed to the next field and then submitted it, but then he seems to be in lingo.  The name appears, and it is in green, but unlike the others, it doesn't have the checkmark and field which say "new name".  However, he isn't linked to a person either, like he is a ghost.  If, I click on the name field box, and choose the "not listed" result, it once again changes it to red and replaces his name.

Hi testshoot -

In order for our staff to review the issue, can you post a screen grab of your new title submission display?

I had a similar problem with a new name I was trying to submit (the same problem comes up in two different browsers that I tried), but worked around it by entering their name, going to the bottom of the page and clicking "Re-check these updates" instead of clicking "Result not shown" at the bottom of the list of suggested names. The name then appeared in yellow and I was able to click a radio button to add the person as a new name.
There is evidence that other contributors have experienced a similar problem, but when the name they are trying to add gets replaced by "see-all-result", which is corrected automatically to "see-all-Result", they have changed the name to "See-all-Result" to avoid it being rejected because of a lower-case first name. This evidence is in the pages for the name constants [link=nm10442201], [link=nm10526951] and [link=nm10866077].

Hopefully IMDb staff pick up on what Allister Coots is saying with those 3 name constants:

Names
See-all-Result (III) (Actress, Unreal Estate (2017))
See-all-Result (I)
See-all-Result (II)

Hi all,

I have now removed the incorrectly listed name pages for See-all-result.

Testshoot, to allow us to help you further with this submission, please can you provide us with screengrabs of the section of the process that is causing the issue? Alternatively, please use the 'save for later' option on the submission form and provide us with the submission reference number. We will then be able to review this further for you.

Thanks
Meredith
