Separating advertising from the rest fo the titles

Since several years ago the IMDb has included some advertising as part of the database. This happens specially when famous actors appear on them or when famous directors are behind camera, here are a couple of examples:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2167988/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3090522/

Currently all this titles are labelled as shorts, however I think they should be separated. For once they have a very different goal than actual short films, they are not made primarily to tell a story but to sell something. On the other they are not considered as part of any short film festivals and wherever adverts are rewarded for their cinematographical or narrative value they are always in separated awards. Finally their narrative and production values put them on a different category. For this reasons I think there should be a new title type in the IMDb to label the advertising and separate them from the rest of the titles.

The IMDb has different titles type like fetures, shorts, documentaries, video games, tv series, video movies, tv movies, tv episodes, tv specials and mini series. If advertising will be included in the database I think it should be under their own category. They are far more differetn from short films than tv movies are from video movies so it makes logic.

Finally (I am one of them) some people don't like to see advertising mixed with movies, and having a different category would allow us to eliminate this kind of productions from our advanced searches, and avoid mixing them with the top rated short films. Also it would allow a much easier comparision with similar titles.

Another thing this would make would be to get top charts for adverts, which would be useful for the people interested in this content.
