Yes, it does and when i see one of my shows on my watchlist release a new episode, i always doubt myself wondering if I even placed it on my watchlist (which it always is) wondering why i was not notified.
I watch a lot of series so it's very annoying for me to have to individually check up on them to see if a new season or episode is out when Imdb is supposed to apprise me of that.
