Sheila Whittingham is alive! I've tried as hard as possible to get Sheila's bio updated on imdb, but nothing will let me delete her date of death. Sheila Whittingham was born in 1935 and is very much alive, but very upset at how she has been confused with Sheila Teasdale (b1918 d2007). Any advice on how to get imdb to take notice of my efforts would be much appreciated. I have even sent them Sheila's email address so they can check with her directly, but still nothing has happened.

Liz: Do any of the credits on the page at http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0926529/ belong to Sheila Teasdale (1918-2007)? Or are the only things on that page that pertain to Sheila Teasdale the birth name, the date and place of birth, and the date and place of death?

Do you have a URL to prove the correct date and place of birth for Sheila Whittingham?

Hi Gromit82. No, all the credits (including the 2011 one) are for the real Sheila Whittingham. Only the the birth and death info is for Teasdale. Teasdale only ever acted on stage. I don't know a URL that would prove SW's birth date (because all the movie sites seem to have taken their lead from Imdb, but am seeing Sheila this afternoon and will ask her.

I've removed the incorrect information linking to the Scottish born stage actress and included the 1935 birth year. If you could provide us with the full correct details I will make sure they get added ASAP.
