Just added a new title :  200131-195229-316200
Svalbard minutt for minutt (2020) (TV)
A dead actor is reading a poem, so i added "(archive sound)"

Should I then have gotten this warning?
"'Fjeldstad, Jack' died in 2000 which is before this title was released (2020).
Please check that you have the right person. It's possible they died during filming and were still credited, or perhaps you need to add an '(archive footage)' attribute if applicable? If this is a common name then maybe roman numerals are required to distinguish this name from our existing listing."

Or maybe the warning should be refrased?
We do not see the actor, so I think Archive Sound is better than fottage?

Kristin,

Consider submitting the credit this way under the Attributes section.

(voice) (archive footage)

Without watching the program and reading about the actor's career on his Wikipedia page, I'm assuming the poetry reading comes from a source that was not originally produced for the program. It is possible the poetry reading may have been a recording from either a radio program or from a spoken word album. If possible, it would be best to confirm this credit by viewing the title's closing credits.

When the term 'archive footage' is included in the Attributes section, the credit will appear on the actor's filmography under the Archive Footage category at the bottom of the page. As of right now, archive sound will likely move the credit to the Acting section.

I hope this helps. Please write back if you have any more questions.

FYI: Are you attempting to submit this project linked below?

Aha, did not know I could add more than one word in parenthesis, i will try your suggestion. :-)
The show runs continously for 9 days starting today so I doubt they will add everyone on the closing credit ;-)  His name did apear on screen thou.
Your link: Yes that is correct, English version of your link:

Last year i added 80 credits of someone who died after the first series of a show but was credited on every episode as they used his voice.
I just put both (voice) (archive sound) in the attribute box, ticked the warning box and all of them went up without a problem.

Jon Tomlinson, may I ask what the series is? I'm just fascinated with posthumous cases/tributes like that.

Also, if the voice was used in the opening sequence/credits it might be more eligible as "(credit only)"...

I try not to reveal pages I worked on after past vandalism issues but I can explain why I attribute it that way if their voice is used and they are screen credited.
It is so this person's acting section ends on the year they died in the late 60's and their archive footage section stretches from the year after they died until 2019, as all the footage & sound from that 50 year period is all things recorded and used when they were alive originally.
To me it looks better, is more accurate and makes more sense to a casual IMDB user that way.
