Often times I'll encounter an actor and wonder how I know him. The "known for" list is helpful but sometimes I'll know him from a lesser-known role as, for instance, a guest star on a beloved series. If I've added all the movies and TV series that I've seen to my watchlist (or, as I've just discovered the existence of, "checked in"), IMDB should group together the movies that I know him for, perhaps right next to (or part of) the "Known for" section.
