I've been watching and cleaning up the episodes of Simon's Cat. There was a missing episode (1.4) that I was able to add and renumber subsequent episodes. There were also two bogus episodes that I was able to delete (1.25 & 1.26 which had no titles and there were no missing episodes). Now, the numbering is off. I was able to get episodes 1-25 to renumber correctly. However, the data editors are not allowing me to renumber episodes 27-36 (and really all episodes up to 77 need to be renumbered but 36 is where I left off). Currently, the episodes go from 25 to 27 with no episode 26.

You are correct. Every episode from Icecapade on needs to be numbered down one. There is really no online source for this because I don't think most people consider these TV episodes.
I know you guys don't trust Wikipedia but they list them the same way; however, they only have 70 episodes whereas IMDb lists 76.
I think the definitive answer would be on this page: https://simonscat.com/films/?fwp_film_type=black-and-white&fwp_per_page=72
Only the black and white films should be considered for Simon's Cat. There should be 71 of them (unfortunately, they aren't numbered but you can see Icecapade follows Nut Again). Some of the episodes should be moved to other series. There are four others called "Simon's Cat's Logic", "Simon's Cat's Guide To", "Simon Draws" and "Simon's Cat Snap"
The extra episodes listed are:
Camouflage Challenge: This is an episode of Simon's Cat's Guide To https://simonscat.com/films/?fwp_film_type=guide-to
Guide to Boxes & Guide to Boxes 2: These should be entitled Cat vs. Boxes and Cat vs. Boxes (Part 2) and are part of Simon's Cat's Guide to: https://simonscat.com/films/?fwp_film_type=guide-to
Just Like My Cat: This appears to be part of a new series called Simon's Cat Snap. https://simonscat.com/films/?fwp_film_type=simons-cat-snaps
Guide to Cat Yoga: Should be named "A Guide to Cat Yoga" and is also part of the Guide To: https://simonscat.com/films/?fwp_film_type=guide-to
I'm not sure what to do with A Year in the Life of a Cat, In Need of a Holiday, and Cat Dad Looking for Love. These appear to be repackaging of other episodes into a longer film.
