Like DOB, height, birthplace etc. They should just remove users ability to edit data (just like they removed the boards), and accept its place online, as the shill site of Hollywood.

Just to clarify, we will approve data for lists such as height, birthplace, and Date of birth, when verifiable evidence has been provided within the submission. If our editors cannot verify the information from a reputable source, then we will not list the data.

Michelle, I have submitted my entries several times, all with multiple verifiable links. I have been a member of the site for 15 years, and came to accept it for what it is: a corporately controlled monolith, like all of the internet is now.
In the future, I'll find answers to my queries elsewhere, as the IMDB has issued policies that allow pro users to manipulate, and hide information from public view. The sites transparency has opaqued over and the experience is the lesser for it.

If you have been contributing for 15 years, you should know that Amazon has owned it that entire time. Amazon bought IMDb in 1998.
