Some aspects of the IMDB website are currently not functioning correctly:
Seems to me there is something wrong with the scripts on your pages.
Please fix.
PS: If it helps, I'm using Google Chrome to access the site.
- The rating button doesn't work
- The "add to watchlist/list" button has disappeared
- The images of the six recommended movies (when I go to a movie's page) are missing, though the "selected" one shows up
- The toggles in a person's credits don't work. eg If the credits under "Director - Movie" are hidden, I can't unhide them by hitting the toggle.
Seems to me there is something wrong with the scripts on your pages.
Please fix.
PS: If it helps, I'm using Google Chrome to access the site.

Problem still persists. Below is the (Chrome) console readout for the error:
Cant click between producer, actor, etc on a person's page, related movies not working correctly and suggestions are not appearing when searching. Seems to be a javascript problem, occurring on all my devices, windows to android. Might want to check the jquery version or w/e else is being used, maybe theres an outdated external reference.

Probably worth noting, I am in Australia, using Telstra. My mobile uses Aldi which uses Telstra services, which is also having the problem. Could be a caching issue if everyone's sharing and ISP.

Mine is now fixed on chrome but I'm still having the same issue with Firefox and Opera
Tried it on Chrome, it didn't work.
Well it WAS fixed on Chrome, I'm back to having the same issues again...

There is a lot of functionality on IMDb that is not working properly ATM. Actor pics not showing up on cast list, can't switch from actor credits to producer credits etc. Multiple links not working etc. I am in Sydney and I know others have raised the issue as well. How close are we to a solution.

it is easy for them to roll back to before they applied a new site edit. then they can replicate and test the problem in house until they have corrected it and then roll out the new site.. unless the incompetent web devs dont know how or are too incompetent to backup the site before launching something new. (spoken by a web developer)
FIX YOUR SITE ALREADY....as many people have told you clearing the cache and all your other cliche suggestions do nothing to solve this problem. I find it very hard to fathom how and why only Australians are affected by this crap

Thank you Trevor. Considering most of the people affected here are probably free users we cannot expect any real service unless we are paying for it. Thank you for continuing to offer a free version of IMDB as I have found it very useful over the years. As well nothing is that important that we need the site back up and fully running as of yesterday.
I would hope that your team is looking at the differences between the website version loaded to the working sites (USA) and any differences added to the site as viewed from Australia. Also the caching time periods for ISPs in Australia compared with USA.

We are looking at every possible root cause and are testing the site accordingly. This is why we've asked for error logs, etc. so that we may locate the root cause and resolve the issue. We apologize our initial fix did not resolve the matter.

Ifthis issue persists for you, can you please provide the following information?

- example URLs of pages that are affected
- Your IP address (can be found at http://ifconfig.me/ip)
- Provide the Chrome ‘HAR’ output (see stepsbelow)
- Enable Chrome developer tools
- choose network tab
- click on ‘preserve log’
- load the page, make sure the missing imagestill happened
- from the output, choose one of the objectin ‘name’ column
- right click on that object (the objectdoesn’t matter), choose ‘save as HAR with content’
- save the file
- compress the file (if needed, as it willhave all of the objects in the captured har file)
- Upload to any file sharing site such asDropBox, Amazon Drive, etc and provide the link in reply to this comment.

This is not a issue with some missing images. In any movie title page (not just some),
1. The "Add to Watchlist" option is missing
2. The "Rating" option cannot be used.
3. The "Check in" option is missing.
4. The intellisense doesn't work in the "Search bar"
5. The options under the "signed user name drop-down list" are not accessible.
6. The "People who liked this also liked..." list is empty with missing movie names and corresponding images.
7. The cast names no longer have their corresponding pictures displayed.

Right. Pretty much all sorts of pages have something wrong with them. On actor/crew member pages I can't expand credits (i.e. someone directs 10 episodes of a TV series, it shows 6 and then there's a link to see the other 4). I can click on the link but it jumps me to the top of the page and doesn't work. I can't expand or collapse sections, the same thing happens as above.
On series pages, when I go into the episode listings it defaults to the latest season and I can't change it. I can open the dropdown menu and click on another season but nothing happens. Very annoying.

On Chrome? I thought the same thing, the watch list button is back and functioning but there are still some issues. For example, on Diego Luna's page, I can only see the films he has produced, it won't let me click on actor to see what he's been in.
It's partially fixed. I still can't expand credits, although search is now up and running again and I can see pictures again.
Mine is fixed! I hope imdb had something to do with the fix.
Trevor, the problems are mostly fixed for what i can tell now. Searching from the home page does not bring up a drop down menu of suggested movies. It only works once you already go to a page

I have reviewed your account information and found that your lists are both active and should not be experiencing issues.
In order to add a new title to your Watchlist, please first locate the title in IMDb. To the left of the film's title, just above the film's poster, you will find a large 'plus' sign. Clicking this plus sign will allow you to ad a movie directly to your Watchlist, but you can see more options like selecting specific lists to add the title two by hovering your mouse over the plus for a few moments.
Please let us know if you require further assistance adding to your lists.

Marco, have you cleared the cache? (Cntrl-F5). The watch list part of the bug seems to be fixed now, you just need to clear your cache.

Haven't been resolved for me. I posted a couple of days ago and no change since then. I cleared cache but no result. Gary, did you do anything specific?
No mate, I just saw a post from earlier today saying the issues had been resolved. I fired up the Safari and happy to say, it seems to be working again. (At least the issues that I was experiencing.) I haven't checked Chrome or Firefox yet. I held off clearing out the browser caches, as so many other crew said that wasn't doing anything.
Keep checking. If mine is back to normal, yours should happen soon, fingers crossed. It appears to have just been an Oz problem. LOL! May be it's the NBN to blame. Someone stuck the wrong plug in the wrong socket.
