Some more external reviews issues

I've been continuing my odyssey
through IMDb's external reviews and have identified a few more issues.

Firstly, I've seen some examiner.com
reviews still on the site, as per this thread https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/removing-examiner-com-and-blueray-examiner-reviews

eg

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057115/externalreviews?ref_=tt_ov_rt

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065938/externalreviews?ref_=tt_ov_rt

Secondly, these sites no longer
exist:

film365.co.uk

filmnitrate.com

thefilmpilgrim.com

digitallard.com

emotionallyfourteen.com

tvgen.com

eccentric-cinema.com

beardyfreak.com

angelfire.com/blog/jester_1/remagen.html - got a fraud warning on this

Thirdly, there are some sites that
I'm not sure should be in this section.

There are some user-generated
content sites:

viewpoints.com - It looks like
this is now just reviews of household goods

letterboxd.com

bigscreen.com - which includes this highly informative review  http://www.bigscreen.com/ReaderReview.php?movie=41101

epinions.com. Many of these are broken links, but some still exist.

And there are some review aggregator
sites:

rottentomatoes

mrqe.com

criticsroundup.com  eg https://criticsroundup.com/film/the-black-windmill/

Should these be under the external reviews?

Hi Nac -

I noted that some of the sites you referenced have already been removed form the titles you reported, for the sites that were still listed I have now removed those and the changes should be live on the site shortly.

For you question about the aggregator sites, these are be eligible under the External Sites section and should not be listed under External Reviews.  You can find our guidelines for External Sites here.  Cheers!

Thanks Michelle.

Sorry to keep throwing these at you, but I forgot to mention filmcritic.com, which now redirects to filmsite.org.

There's also Channel 4, which doesn't seem to have film reviews anymore, they redirect to the home page: eg http://www.channel4.com/film/reviews/film.jsp?id=106681

And Nathan's movie reviews on Google Sites no longer exists, eg
https://sites.google.com/site/nathansmoviereviews/the-spy-who-loved-me

I wasn't sure if you were going to remove the user-generated review sites, letterboxd, etc. Are these eligible for this section or not?

Also, and feel free to chip in here, Col, could the external link sections not be better policed on IMDb? They can be really useful, but there are so many dead links and occasionally defunct sites that now point somewhere dodgy. Has IMDb thought about checking these links or making sure they're still maintained? (I've no idea how, sorry, it's just an idea)
