"The facts are if you want to know which of these movies is better you just have to check on IMDb Top rated movies". True, but that is not the question that the mentioned poll is asking. The poll is asking about "which one depicted the Evil Triumph scene in the best way". Understand?

That's fine, cinephile. I, on the other hand, wouldn't claim to know for sure the causality surrounding voters' choices. I've expressed all of which I'm probably capable as far as trying to convey the difference between your expectations and the Dibyayan Chakravorty's expectations. You're welcome.

and others time when the best doesn't win it is because the poll was made when a movie was very popular

Ed,

You can click on the image: it opens it in a separate screen, which is "magnifyable"
I always do that on my smartphone.

I know that. Cinephile needs to use that procedure.
Thanks for posting it so he can utilize your procedure.
Cheers.

Absolutely, by a certain Dr. Guillotin, to make death penalty less cruel and painful.
But I did not tested it yet...

Neither Vincent Fournols nor I have problems reading cinephile's screenshots as they already exist, because the higher-resolution image can be retrieved by clicking on the image as it appears in a forum post.

In fact Guillotin didn't want to kill people when he invented that. He wanted to use it in medecinal way to cut leg with gangrene for exemple. But at that time, cut leg was painful because they use saw  and with saw you have to make a come and go movement. Unfutunately somebody used it to kill people as a result in the worst year of the Revolution Française (1794) the revoluton was in (1789) but a lot of noble was find just a few years later this year 20 000  were execute by the Guillotine. Yes, he called is invention by his name. He become crazy because of that.

To go further, on a similar note, the electric chair was invented to "prove" that alternating current is "more deadly" than direct current. Regardless, throughout history, a whole bunch of discoveries and inventions have been weaponized.

I always found something incredibly chauvinistic in that "rib" thing, forget the idea that a woman would "come off" a man's body while the truth is the total opposite, but when you think about it, what characterizes "ribs" is that they are 'twisted' and the upper parts are the most twisted ones, which means the 'head' if you go further in the metaphor. Of course this is not to be taken seriously but at least the "Jupiter's thigh" metaphor isn't as twisted as the rib's one. :)

One of my great-uncles used to say "And God created Woman... who then created the Salad"

Salad is a French slang word that has no English equivalent, but it means distorted truth or manipulative talk.. well, I'm only quoting the man who's an old-school guy in his late 70s, but the word "salad" is less negative than any possible translation I can come of, it's meant to be funny of course.

ElM,

I would use "fuzz" to translate "salade" here, agreeing it is not 100% accurate.
