Someone added "DC's" to the title of "Legends of Tomorrow". I thought company names were prohibited in title. (At least, that is what one IMDb employee told me when I tried to add "Marvel's Spider-Man".) Can we revert this back to just "Legends of Tomorrow"?

I was under the impression that if the DC's was present on screen with the title than it is included.

Not according to what I've been told because all the Marvel shows and most of the DC shows, show the company name and this is the only one I've seen recently that includes the company name.

I see what you are saying now. This used to have the word Marvel in front of it. Now it does not.

Hi Adrian -

To help clarify our policy on these titles, the possessive should never be entered as a part of the primary title. However, in certain cases, where the possessive helps to identify an otherwise ambiguous title, we will allow the possessive title to be added as the (imdb display title) as opposed to the otherwise (complete title). This should only be submitted as (imdb display title) if the possessive title is how the title is commonly referred to in that specific country. You can see further details outlined in our guide under the section "Capitalization and character sets" (look for the information under "Possessives").

So in this case, the USA display title for "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" was added, which is why the title display changed.
