Someone is adding additional information to character names and not following the onscreen credits

I noticed this on both NBC shows that I watched tonight. First, on The Good Place someone changed all of Maya Rudolph's character name to Judge Gen. She is always credited solely as "Judge" for her character. Then, on Superstore, someone added last names to all the characters. This may be okay for the main cast where character names are never given, but all the supporting characters are only credited with their first name. Is there a way to revert all these edits and make the editor aware of the actual guidelines before they do more shows?

Hi Adrian -
Can you confirm which episodes of "Superstore" were recently updated with the incorrect character names?  Also, can you confirm that Maya Rudolph's character was credited only under the name "Judge" for all episodes she worked on (including season 2)?

It looks like someone changed some of them back to "Judge" in season 2. I didn't edit those episodes last year but the one remaining for the episode, "The Burrito", she was indeed credited as "Judge" as you can see from my update when it aired: 180126-023514-744000.

Also, you can see it here:

As for Superstore, it appears that all episodes that have aired were affected.

Kaliko Kauahi was never credited as "Sandra Kaluiokalani". She's always credited as "Sandra". This goes for ever character except the main cast of American Ferrera, Justin Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos and Mark McKinney. They appear in the opening credits just with the actor's name and no character name. All of the supporting characters are credited in the end credits solely with a last name. This has to be a fairly recent update. I'm not sure why someone went to the trouble of figuring out their last names and adding them.

I don't mind the last names maybe in the trivia. I add such stuff myself when something is revealed.

I chose a random episode of Superstore off Hulu, but this is pretty indicative of how the end credits always appear. Notice there are no last names (including Sandra).

Thanks Adrian, I've contacted the user responsible now reminding them of the on screen policy.

Will, it does not look like the credits have been reverted. Is that left up to me to individually change all the credits back? It seems like since you know the user and all the edits he/she submitted that undoing those would be easier than me having to rewatch all the credits to make sure I get them right.

Hi Adrian -
The credits have been adjusted to include the first name of the character.  If you see any further instances of incorrect listings you are welcome to submit the corrections through our online form and our editors can take another look.  Thanks again!
