Someone created a page for our film and we want to take it down. How can we do that and how can we find out who did it?

(I'm not with IMDb and I don't speak for them. I'm not an expert.)
AFAIK, they don't disclose contributors' identities. Essentially anyone with a free IMDb account with typical privileges could've submitted a request to create the page and add data. Likewise, essentially anyone can request valid edits. Exclusive control is apparently not available, AFAIK. If any incorrect information appears, you can submit corrections as Gromit82 suggested.

Carla: I agree with what the person known as Nobody wrote above. You would most likely not be able to find out who submitted the film to the database without a subpoena or court order or something like that.
I do not see a «problem» in the creation of a title page for an existing film or project. Gromit82, replying to Carla's post, says all there is to it. The very existence of IMDb is for us, users, to register all films in the world. (It is still lacking some...)
If you had someone list a home video or a personal sex tape, you would want to be able report it. The film in question is not available to the public. It does not fit IMDb's requirements for being listed.
Additionally, the page is many times over erroneous. Seems like a prime candidate to be reported.
- Released in cinemas.
- Shown on TV.
- Released on video or the web or prints have been made available to the public.
- Listed in the catalog of an established video retailer; (e.g. Amazon.com).
- Accepted and shown on film festivals.
- Made by a (now) famous artist or person of public interest.
- Made famous for some reason and is widely talked about/referenced in media or the 'film community' or is now of general historic interest for some reason.
Additionally, the page is many times over erroneous. Seems like a prime candidate to be reported.

Kätlyn: If the film is truly ineligible for listing in IMDb, you can submit a request to delete it at http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/report_titledeletion. You will need to provide a full explanation as to why the film should be removed from the database.
