After watching a John Waters film, I wanted to search up Traci Lords, and her name wouldn't come up. I can go to the films she's been in, and there is all OK, but when I search "Traci Lords" or her real name, amd also full name, the result is just a couple of episodes.
This isn't the first time I've ad problems with search, but how can this be.
Is it beacuse Lords also previously did adult movies?

OJT: To search for people and titles who are considered "adult" names/titles, one has to be logged into IMDb and to specifically enable searching for such names and titles.

If you search for such a person or title and don't get a result, look to the right-hand rail of the search results page. In the Additional Search Options box, you will see a link that says, "Enable adult titles/names in your searches." If you click on "Enable", you will get a refreshed search results page that includes adult names and/or titles.

I hope this helps.

LOL...I doubt he was but it did look funny to see it.  I thought the same thing when I saw you post it.  I've seen others though, like a casual reply a year or more after posting the question.  So, it happens now and then!
