Please help me.  Started watching SOA three or four months ago, and fell in love with it (and Jax!).  Last week I watched the episode "A Mothers Work".  I go to Netflix and order the show.  However since that episode, there were NEVER any more.  The listing ended.  Online I found that there are atleast twenty more episodes since I have been able to watch it.  Has anybody ever heard of this and HOW can I get to the episodes I haven't seen yet?

Hi Colleen -

You might have better luck asking on the "Sons of Anarchy" Message Board here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1124373/board/

You can also try posting your question in the "I Need to Know"message board, this is the right place to post
those trivia questions you don't know the answer to: http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000001/threads/

Other than netflix originals, most netflix content is only updated after a show has been released to video/DVD

Netflix is not a site for keeping up to date with current seasons of shows

What you are looking for is season 7; which is currently still being aired. Unless you have the network its being aired on through your cable channel the only place I know to watch it online is through Amazon instant video which rents/sells the episodes at the same time they are broadcast on TV

If you wish to get them through netflix you will need to wait for the DVD/homevideo release of the current season 7 which is sometime at the end of February (you can also pre order the DVDs on Amazon ~ they will even ship them early so it arrives on the release date)

About 3/4ths of the dvd's I get from the library are so badly scratched they can't play until the end. I am forever watching movies for an hour only to have it freeze up (and half the time freeze my dvd player so I have to unplug it and plug back in to get it to eject) so badly I can't watch the end.

They buff it twice and if it's still not working they pull it. So, some damaged discs stay available. Also, there must be a lot of people who just return them without complaint, so bad ones go back on the shelf (and, of course, sometimes the staff just rubs it with a cloth and puts it out)...but by then it goes back to stock.

If you're going to do the library thing, you can also go online and 'reserve' titles and it creates kind of a queue and when they come available they are held. So, I drop a few and pick up a few.

It'd be great, though, if the discs actually played...at the least, most of the time!

i'm so sorry to hear that!  our library's pretty good w/ the discs. surely not everyone treasures DVDs when it's not their own. but we've been good, maybe only 1 out of a 100 dvds that we've watched hv had that problem.  and when we report the bad ones they take care of them (buff, replace... whatever).  we can get 'em from all the libraries within our county, plus all of california w/ this LINK+ system that we just started using a few months ago.   we've canceled our netflix since.  heh heh.  :)
and the selection's pretty complete. only a few titles we weren't able to find (and for good reasons).

Glad to hear there are better-run libraries. Same here, too, that we can transfer them over. It is sure nice to have a queue going and easier than digging through the shelves (and easy to pull from IMDb watchlist, etc.) by adding a bunch I know I'll want to see.

Maybe the staff will get better here...I'm keeping up hope!
